Why didn't you kick a field goal?! Ben Johnson opted to go for it on 4th and goal twice in the game against the Rams instead of kicking field goals. Chicago fans were frustrated and I'm sure it will keep Ben Johnson up at night for a little while.

The Chicago Bears made a big jump from last year to this year though earning the two seed and winning the NFC North. Their main priority last offseason was to bulk up the offensive line and it paid off. They produced three pro bowlers in Joe Thuney (LG), Darnell Wright (RT), and Drew Dalman (C). The offensive line only let Caleb Williams get sacked 24 times over the course of the season.

They can build on this season going into next year, sign some key free agents (maybe a true number one wide out), and hit on draft picks. They are still going to be in one of the best divisions in the NFL, but they proved they can hang with the best of teams.

The Denver Nuggets may be the team that can take out the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Nuggets did bring the Thunder to seven games in the Western Conference Semifinals this past post season.  They resigned Bruce Brown, signed Tim Hardaway Jr., Aaron Gordon will be healthy heading into the season, and Nikola Jokic will be a top three MVP player. Losing out on Jonas Valanciunas sucks, but maybe they'll be able to sign Bradley Beal if he becomes available?

NUGGETS

The LA Clippers beat down the Denver Nuggets last night to take a 2-1 lead in their series. The Clippers were better than the Nuggets in almost ever statistical category which showed since they won by 34 points.  Nikola Jokic had a triple double, but only scored 23 points which is below his season average of almost 30 points per game. Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon both score in double digits, but the rest of team didn't help too much.  Denver and LA were 2-2 in the 4 games they played against each other this year.

BRONCOS

The Denver Broncos and Bo Nix are playing well this season. After beating their division rival, the Las Vegas Raiders last night, they hold an 8-2 record.  Don't get too excited though, they have only beaten one team above 500 (Eagles). Their two losses are against the Chargers and the Colts.  Don't get me wrong, this team is playing well, has a good defense, and a good young quarterback, but lets see how they do against teams with winning records.  Their nect game is against the Kansas City Chiefs.
